Still life photography for a feature about digital wellness by Elke Meitzel

Today I am showing of some still life photography I did as part of a shoot for CondeNast Japan. The still life photography was part of a gadgets and lifestyle shoot about digital wellness.

The art director was looking for a loose, incidental, aesthetic. Which I particularly like in those images. There is a sense of adventure and story going on – the urban wilderness of the Merri Creek.

The Japanese sure know a thing or two about gadgets. It might well be just ignorance on my behalf on the gadgets. The conical item on the left hand side is a solar powered inflatable light. Very handy for those swims when you need to locate your clothes in the dark.
