'Last'
These works, though pictorial in effect, prefigure a strange process of disambiguation. Forms and colours of the natural world irradiate and are atomised to abstraction. It feels like soon twig or leaf or cloud will cede its outline to a shadow, and each thing disappear to imprint itself with the startling clarity of an optogram.

Are we nearly there yet?

Are we nearly there yet
My abstract ink drawings explore the intersection of emotion and environment. The use of intense colors and gestural nature of the works are to evoke the profound impact and transformation within landscapes- physical and emotionally.
The adopted God's eye view means that the viewer is looking down on the works, surveying the bigger picture and a sense of interconnectedness. These works are a meditation on the fragility and resilience of the natural world, capturing the fluidity and unpredictability of a changing landscape.
